Your Madura account holds your order history, saved addresses, and payment methods, so it’s worth protecting. Here’s how to keep it safe.
Use a strong, unique password
Make it at least 8 characters, with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
Don’t reuse a password from another website.
A password manager makes strong, unique passwords easy to keep.
You can update yours anytime. (See the article “Changing your password.”)
Review where you’re signed in
Check Account, then Devices, to see every browser and app signed in to your account. If you spot something you don’t recognize, sign it out. (See the article “Managing your devices and sessions.”)
Good times to review:
After using a shared or public computer.
If you lose a device.
Any time something feels off.
Protect your email
Because password resets and verification codes go to your email, keeping that inbox secure is just as important. Use a strong password and, where available, turn on two-step verification with your email provider.
Watch for scams
Madura will never ask for your password by email or text.
We’ll never ask you to pay outside of checkout.
Links in real Madura emails always lead to our official site. When in doubt, type the address yourself.
If you think your account is compromised
Change your password immediately. (See the article “Changing your password.”)
Sign out all devices from Account, then Devices.
Email [email protected] so we can help secure your account and review recent activity.
